I know that it’s called CHAIR-ish the Future and I did a chair last year. This year I did a little side table though. I had some wonderful suggestions of creative ideas (the unique chess board and “coffee” table) and I wanted to go with those but due to time constraints decided to do an American Flag… which would have saved time but my very hidden occasional OCD stepped in and took over with spacing, placement, numbering, use of a ruler, etc. In my American Flag paintings on canvas I am much looser and care-free. It was still a lot of fun! And then I was stumped on a quote to add to the table. A friend (thanks Frankie!) found the PERFECT quote by Hamilton Fish. Don’t know who he is either? Look him up! I love history lessons. 🙂 Here’s the progression if you are so inclined. Oh… and if you want to bid on this little table (and many other pieces of painted furniture!) come to Chairish the Future benefiting the Atlanta Furniture Bank on April 2nd! http://www.chairishthefuture.com/
